Hi friends, so happy to be here sharing another project with the beautiful Color Study! Today I have some card inspiration!
I started by cutting down some Vicki Boutin Foundations paper for my card front. I cut it to 4.25 x 5.5. I added some stenciling with the Color Study flower stencil and some pink Gel Crayon and Art Crayon. I added the pigment with the Vicki Boutin Stencil brush. I also added a little orange Art Crayon too.
The stenciling turned out so soft and pretty. I cut the Foundations paper down with my Tim Holtz Deckle Edge Trimmer to 3.25 x 4.5. I matted the white paper onto a piece of the premade mixed media paper pad papers. I added a mat of dark brown to create a nice thin frame.
I added Iridescent Glaze to a coral card base through one of the Color Study stencils. Once that dried, I added all of the layers to the card base. I stamped and embossed using a Color Study stamp to create the sentiment and embellishments.
I added the sentiment with foam adhesive and then tucked the foliage pieces in behind. I added a few peach baubles and that finishes this pretty and soft mixed media card!
