Nathalie with you today with more Pre-Made Mixed media paper pad fun. All the details in the backgrounds in the pads are just a perfect to create beautiful pages in a short amount of time. Let me show you what I have created...
I added a bit of gold glaze stamping to the background using the It's All Good Stamp set, followed by a few splatters of the glaze, and set this aside to dry. Meanwhile, I cut rainbow strips from the Thumbnail paper and worked on the paper layers behind the photo
I cut small notches in the edges of the strips, and folded them in so that they create texture on the page, and add interest on the simple design. I glued the strips together, and then attached them to the background on a vertical line. Then it was all about adding the photos and embellishments.
I chose to color block some of the embellishments; this emphasizes the colors in the paper strips, plus brings your eye through the page. I used butterflies as a repetitive shape that brings the page together.
I added a simple, but colorful title to the bottom of the paper column. The sentiments in the stickers in the collection just adds to the sentiment of the page. You can see the page come together in the following video:
