Hi friends, it's Mari here! I have a 12x12 layout to share today!
I started my process by adding Distress Oxide Inks to some Foundations paper. I used rainbow colors to complement the New Ideas patterned paper from Color Study. The ink colors I used were Kitsch Flamingo, Squeezed Lemonade, Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feathers, and Salvaged Patina. I blended the colors on and then spritzed them with a bit of water to create a distressed look. I cut a 12x2.25 inch strip from the New Ideas paper and adhered it along the inked strip. I layered a half inch strip of the vellum specialty paper over the New Ideas paper on the right edge.
I cut apart the tags from the Perspective paper and placed them in rainbow order to the right of the New Ideas paper. I added my photo mat to the lower third of the New Ideas vertical strip and embellished on the right with die cuts and stickers.
I tore a curved section of the Foundations paper away on the left side and added some machine stitching. I placed some of the New Ideas paper behind this area. I added more ink blending, die cuts and stickers to the top left area.
