Hi everyone! Welcome to the Vicki Boutin blog! It's Mari here today with some inspiration using the beautiful Color Study collection!
I started my project with the Palette patterned paper. I trimmed some kraft cardstock to 9x8.5 inches. I added sewing to the edge as well as to the edge of the rainbow dot 8x6 paper from the small paper pad. I layered these papers onto the Palette paper for my layout base.
I cut a 1.75 inch strip from the 8x6 pencil paper and punched three 1.5 inch circles from the paper. I left the tear away portion of the paper intact at the top. I added white cardstock circles to the gaps and layered the one inch vellum pie charts to the centers. These are from the beautiful specialty paper! I added a horizontal embellishment cluster between the second and third circle.
I added die cut embellishments to the top of the photo as well as a tag from the Perspective paper. I love that there are so many options with this collection; there are die cuts and stickers for days!
I added my journaling below my "polaroid" photo and cut a banner end in a die cut to add below the photo.
I added an arrow with a brad to the large pie chart die cut; this coordinates with the "choices" theme and title of the layout "Choose Amazing", because life is all about choices everyday, right? I love how this project came together! Oh, and I am so in love with this collection by the amazingly talented Vicki Boutin!
Thank you so much for joining me today on the blog! You can find a full process video as well as links to the products I used right here: https://youtu.be/kCIbFSQw1Cs
Have an amazing day!
