Hi everyone, Jana back again and i have a new MoodBoard inspired Layout for you.
Nathalie did and awesome job with this one, right? I was totally inspired by the beautiful wreath in the upper left corner.
I started with some rolled paper flowers (cutfiles from Paige Evans) and pretty papers from Vickis "Color Kaleidoscope" and the "Field Notes" Collection. I rolled them up and used some hot glue to secure them, the easiest way!!
I also wanted to add a lot of leaves to my flowers and the wreath. I used a leave stamp from the "Field Notes" and one from the "Color Kaleidoscope" Collection. I heat embossed them in white just because i wanted to color them with the Watercolor Markers. I love to use the markers and i love how the leaves turned out...
I mixed four different colors together and i applied a lot of water to the paper before i added the colors. This helped to get a nice blended watercolor look. It took some time to fussy cut them all out, but so worth the time and the work! They turned out great... I also decided to add some dark blue leaves to the mix. I used some dies from my stash and a paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad for them... i love the touch of blue!
I made my own wreath out of wire and i used the hot glue gun to get all of the leaves attached to the wreath. This is so quick and easy and it also gives some dimension too! I really love how the green leaves looks next to the dark blue and the muted colors form the flowers.
I grabbed the Watercolor Markers for some color behind the wreath. I only added a bit of them... just a touch of yellow/orange/pink peeking out from behind.
I decided to go with a black title and so i added some big black splatters to the background too. The pictures shows me and my hubby... it´s SO nice from him to give me 30secs to get some new pictures, right?! He don´t like it!! I added some Chipbopard Stickers to complete my title/story!
I added some more different stickers around the page. There are some Puffy Stickers, Chipboard Stickers and some from the Sticker Book... i am so in love with this Layout. I love how the wreath turned out and i just had the best of time today...
