Hi everyone, Jana back again and i have a new Layout for you. This one was inspired by the current Moodboard for february, i grabbed the circles, the word love and the colors blue & green as my inspiration for my project.
Thsi is my Layout... i really love how it turned out!
I started this project with my WeR HappyJig Tool, some wire in bright green and the word LOVE. I love to use this tool!
My idea for this layout was a watercolor mixed media background with some golden texture on top. So i started with watercolors in blue and different green tones and a sheet of the Foundation paper. I added a lot of water to the colors and tons of splatters.
I am a big fan of watercolors and splatters... i added some more green and once everything was dry i mixed the Vicki Boutin Gold Glaze and my favorite texture paste together. I love how this golden texture paste turned out.
I used one of the "All the Good Things" stencils for some script texture in the background. I just wanted to have a tiny bit peeking out from behind. This is giving so much interest to your Layout. I grabbed some kraft cardstock and a small circle Die (also from the "All the Good Things" Collection) to create a interesting paper piece for my picture and embellishments.
I used a flower Die from my stash and some "Field Notes" papers for a nice flower cluster. I only used green and white here and this looks awesome on top of the kraft cardstock. I also had a look into the Journaling Die Cuts for some more layering pieces behind my photo.
I added my title and some gold glitter heart stickers around everything and I also stamped a butterfly in black and placed it on the left side from the flowers. I only added some blue enamel dots and some Tim Holtz word stickers to finish this project. I really love how it turned out and i had a lot of fun!!
