Hey Friends!!!
Hope you are all close to ready for the holiday!!! I am trying to get a little bit done each day and crafting when I can. Here is a little something I was stoked to make. I love the Mini Mason Jars from Tim Holtz and the Photo Clip Kit. At first I was going to make a snow globe or a little scene inside but plans change. I decided I wanted to go the painted mason jar route instead. Take a look at what I made...
I love layers and clusters!!! So I decided to create a clustered topper for my painted mini mason jar! I cut out a bunch of shapes with Tim Holtz Holiday Greens and Scribbles, Word Blocks and Splats Thinlits from Sizzix.
I painted the jar with three layers of Picket Fence Distress Paint. Allow each coat to dry before re-applying paint. I did use my heat gun a bit, too. One the paint was completely dry, I sanded the raised bits. Love how it turned out! The bells are Tim Holtz Jingle Brad Fasteners with the "fasteners" cut off.
I had to add some Memo Pins (love them!), Holiday Flashcards and Holiday ChitChat stickers!
Metallic paper for the win! Die look great cut from Glitter and foiled paper!!
Hope you enjoyed this little Christmas treasure! Fun to make and it will definite be coming out every year with the rest of my holiday decor items.
