Wow. I am finally coming up for air. September was the craziest month I have lived through in awhile. As a result I dropped off the face of the "blog" for a bit. It has been nice to catch up with my family and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner this past weekend. Now I have lots to catch up on here. I am going to do a quick September in review and also add a few "what's coming" tidbits.
First...housekeeping. Did you know that Scrapfest Oshawa is happening this coming weekend? I will be teaching two classes. I will be teaching a layout class on Friday with a BUNCH of goodies from Simple Stories, Little Yellow Bicycle, Core'dinations, American Crafts and Queen and Co. Huge kit! And guess what?!?!?! Two spots just opened up. Check it out HERE. Take a peek at the class...

The class will be 2 double page layouts with foiling, paper piecings and more.
Here are the items you will need if you are coming to the class on Friday...
12" paper trimmer, adhesive, scissors, ruler, Circle punches- 1", 1 1/2", 2" baby wipes, black stamping ink, acrylic stamping block, border punches, corner rounder
If you are coming on Saturday and taking the Portfolio of Promises class (can't wait for this one...it is FULL of Pink Paislee and Heidi Swapp with some Maya Road, Core'dinations and Queen and Co) you will need...
12" paper trimmer, adhesives (tape runner, 3D foam squares, wet glue, glue stick), scissors, ruler, baby wipes, black stamping ink, acrylic stamping block, border punches, corner rounder, ink blending tool, craft mat, Distress Ink: Mustard Seed, Broken China (ink will be supplied)
Now that I got that out of the way, let's talk about what I have been up to.
As you know from my last post, in early September I taught at CKU San Jose...loved it! I taught an all day album class using Simple Stories. Can't wait to head to Stamford to teach it again on Nov 1-3. Hope to see you there!!!
Then it was off to Salt Lake City, UT to meet up with this girl...

my friend Layle. We spent a few days at her house, went to the Blue Lemon for lunch with our friend Sande and shopped...a lot! Then we were on the road heading to Las Vegas for Inspiration Unlimited!!!

Vegas! We made it! And then I didn't pick up my camera again! Ugh! I don't have any photos from IU! But it was a great time! Wonderful people, great shopping and Theresa and Ginger were SUPER event co ordinators!!!! Hope to make it back next year.
Finally, after 2 days home from Salt Lake City/Vegas I was off to Crop & Create Ottawa! Catherine, Jen and I enjoyed each others company on our road trip and visited one of my FAV restaurants...Lonestar with Kelly Goree and Kelly Purkey. Good times! The rest of the weekend was a blur of classes, baked goods and laughs! It was yet another awesome event!!! Thanks so much Ottawa friends!!!! Here are some highlights...

Again, once the weekend started I didn't get a chance pull my camera out and take photos of the classes or the photo booth this time! Next time, I will try to get more photos!
Then came Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada! Our weekend consisited of hockey, dinners and catching up. I love turkey and I especially love the soup that I will be making this week!!
Ok! Now I have to get packing up for Scrapfest and I have a few projects to finish up. Watch for a bunch of class kits I will be selling later this month.
