Was so stinkin' good!!!! I have to say that my Mom has totally redeemed herself! She wanted to see it, I wanted the popcorn! But once I started watching it I loved it! The only slightly painful part was watching/listening to Pierce Brosnan sing!!! hee hee! If you go to see it make sure you sit through the credits at the end...I. Lauughed. Hard.

It has been terrible!!!! I could not put the first two down!!! Have you read this series??? Do you like a good romance with a little monster twist?? These books are a mix of suspense and romance and are a must read if you like that kind of thing!!! To my families chagrin, I am off to the bookstore tomorrow to get Eclipse! This girl so love a good read!!!

I was just browsing the current issue of Scrapbooks Etc on their website and wanted to share a few things that they have posted this month. I did the Designer's Notebook for the August September issue and they have posted pictures of my Scrap Space. Some of these may be a little different than the ones I have here so go take a look. Also, I did a page inspired be Cindy Tobey's (this gal is super talented!!!!! Met her at CHA and told her just that!) paper piecings for this issue of Piece Talk. Here is the one I did...

Hi All! I'm back from Chicago and another CHA show! Greta and I had a great time visiting downtown Chicago and seeing Wicked!!! Here are a few photos....
It was hot and humid but a good time. We were pretty tired on Tuesday night (both of us only slept for a few hours the night before) but Wicked was a blast and so was Michigan Ave! Glad we went in a day early to sightsee...CHA summer is in Orlando next year and we would have missed the opportunity to see Chicago together!
CHA was a good show! A lot of people said it was slow but the Scenic Route booth was pretty steady with people. The new lines were well received and Sonoma was a hit! I loved it even more once it was up on the boards at the show! It is delicious!

That is Layle, Nancy and Sarah. Sarah is the genius behind all of the wonderful Scenic Route designs! I love her! These ladies are a great group to hang out with and we always have a good time! Here is Greta...she was on the phone when I took the picture of the other 3 gals!
After the show on Friday we all headed to see John Mayer and Colbie Caillat. It was a great show!!!! I especially loved John Mayer's cover of Panama by Van Halen! But I have to apologize to Howard...he really was expecting me to rock it out at the concert but it was a much more mellow vibe so I had to resort to a rythmic head bob instead! LOL!!! Maybe we can find a little funkier beat in Anaheim!!!

I love this new school themed line called Appleton from Scenic Route!!! It is PERFECT for school projects. I created this fun little mini book using one of my other SR favourites...the covered albums!!!
I think I may have to make a class out of this one!!! I wonder if it would be something people would be interested it?? Thoughts??

I am busily working on projects for CHA (Craft and Hobby Association- for those who aren't sure what the heck CHA stands for!) Summer in Chicago...next week...lots to do...only a few days left...if you were wondering what the heck I have been up to. I will be posting pictures of said CHA projects over the next few days. I think I will do a fabulous giveaway early next week as well. Maybe some new CHA goodness to be given away upon my return. Sounds good??

I added a little Ranger razzmatazz to the background on this one. The stamps are called Family Tree. Love them!!!
These are some of my little mans best buds from his old school (miss these dudes!!!). The stamps are a fun set called Take Me to Your Leader. I told you they were fun!!!!
I LOVE these two sets of stamps!!! LOOOOOVE them!!! The fruit stamps are from a set called Sweet To the Core and the trees (double love!!!) are from Sheltering Tree.
Finally...
A little more with Sheltering Trees (love them!!! Just sayin'...) and the alphabets are from the winter release, Golly Gee Big Letters.
Great stuff this time around!!! Although I have yet to be disappointed with anything from Gel-A-Tins!!! Good stamps!!!

First off, Happy 4th of July to all of my American friends!!!! I have been having problems with Typepad and adding photos to my blog but I think I have it figured out! So, now I can post my Ranger U experience!
Ranger U! Had a great time! I took classes with Suze Weinburg, Clauudine Hellmuth and Tim Holtz. I learned over 70 new techniques and I am now a Ranger Certified Instructor! Pretty cool!
They were all fabulous! Suze has me hooked on my new melting pot, Claudine was an absolute delight and has some fab products coming out at CHA summer and Tim is just a wealth of distressing knowledge! I learned a lot and now I need to sit down and play!!! Along with some fun, new techniques, I also met a bunch of new friends!

Oh, man! I have so much to share! I want to finish up all of the Europe stuff so I can talk about other fun stuff and post even more pictures and projects!!!! NEVER. ENOUGH. TIME. IN. THE. DAY. I had the opportunity to teach at a store called Scrapland while I was in Amsterdam. The ladies there were so nice and we had a great time scrapping and chatting!
One of the main reasons I went to the Netherlands was for the Scrap-A-Ganza Event. It was similar to CKU with lots of classes and a great market place. The ladies who attended were lovely and all of the Scrap-A-Ganza staff were great! Here are a few pics form the event...

I love all the stitching on your layouts. You've inspired me to pull out my machine. Love what you did with the chipboard on the "princess" layout. Very creative!
