The event in Cornwall was a blast! My Mom tagged along for some fun and I am so thankful for that! She helped make the 6 hour drive bearable! When we arrived everyone was checking in and setting their stuff up in their crop spaces. We hung out on Friday night and did a lot of laughing! On Saturday I taught two classes and that was so much fun! We played with some Ranger Crackle Paints and Perfect Pearls in one class and I am hooked! Ranger makes some great stuff! The other class was full of Scenic Route, Prism cardstock and some foils from Stix 2 Anything...good times!!! The women were all so friendly...it was just a great way to spend a weekend! Thanks so much to Angie and Debbie for having me again!! Can't wait until October when we do it all again. If anyone is interested in coming out for a fun filled weekend at the Tomorrow's Treasures store in Smith Falls contact the store to register. The spaces are limited and we have big plans for the fall event. Thanks again to all of the fabulous ladies who attend the Spring Event...you made it a memorable teaching experience!!! Thanks to my Mom for all her help too!
There is something that I think is worth mentioning in regards to the Scrapbooking Cruise to Alaska that I am a part of in August. I was chatting about the cruise this past weekend and a few questions came up about the how a "scrapbooking" cruise works. The easy way to explain it is a regular cruise with the added bonus of scrapbooking classes!!! The classes are not offered when there are shore excursions or other fun cruise activities going on. We will be having the classes when we are at sea or other opportune times during the 7 night cruise to Alaska!!! So, if you have always wanted to go on a cruise to Alaska and you love to scrapbook this is the cruise for you! It can still be a family vacation but instead of going to a movie, bingo or the casino you can come and hang out with Jen Starr and I and scrap a little! Sounds good, eh?!
Ok, back to work for me! I have to clean this house and get some projects done for my upcoming classes. I will add some peeks as I complete them! Have a good Tuesday!
