My kids are funny. They make me laugh everyday.
We took a trip to the dentist today and the kids got there teeth cleaned and checked. Dev was good- she has great spacing so her teeth are easy to clean. Riley on the other hand had a few cavities the last time around and we went and had them all filled. One of them was pretty deep and as it turned out he had a little abcess on his gum. The Dr. decided to take it out and happened to have time to do it today. Ri was a trooper and sat through the extraction. Tonight while driving home from my Mom's he asked if he could hold off on putting the tooth under his pillow. I said, "Sure!". He informed me that he was glad because he wanted to "examine" it for a little while longer! Funny kid!

The girl has been trying her Momma's nerves! LOL!!! She was pretending in this photo but let me tell you...this girl has entered some crazy stage that I am trying to figure out how to deal with and she is way too clever for my own good!!! I have discovered that I am not the only stubborn one in this household! The child is a firecracker! I keep telling myself that it will only make her a strong woman one day but man! will she push and just keep on pushing! You gotta love her! Rich and I often giggle at night when we talk about what the two of them were up to for the day! I am so glad that she is funny !!! It makes the other stuff so much more bearable!
The new house is coming along! The drywall is done and I think they may have started the trim. I can not wait for the paint, kitchen and flooring! It has been so much fun watching it come together!!! I am itching to decorate but I have been keeping that in check! I want to wait until we are in there or at the very least, until the house is almost done. I think I have bought the most stuff for my scrap room! It is the one space that I have completely planned out in my mind!!! It should be lots of fun!
My friend Amber is here in Canada visiting her parents. She drove from Wisconsin yesterday and we are planning to go for dinner tomorrow. I love the girl! It is crazy that I met her as a result of my first publication in BHG! We both were in the Inspirations issue way back when and I emailed her after she posted on Two Peas In a Bucket about the sections her work would be in. We have been friends ever since. Crazy how things work.
I went and got my hair cut tonight. Trying something new, just not sure what that will be just yet. Ready for a change. I am actually ready for a lot of changes lately. It will be interesting to see where this itch will take me. I am definitely ready to scratch it!
