I am back from Craft & Connect (formally CHA summer) in Vegas. I arrived home last Thursday on the red eye and then had the fun of tackling the clean up from a flooded basement! Good times!
The show was great! Good to reconnect with friends and get the opportunity to see all the new releases upclose and personal! Starting tomorrow I am going to recap what I saw and photographed at the show. I love posting the must haves and helping you figure out where you might want to spend those crafting dollars. Let me know if you have any questions about any of the stuff you have been checking out online and I can shed light where possible. I have a few giveaways too!!! :)
On the basement front. The little flood from the very heavy rainfall (you may have seen the storm clouds I posted on Facebook)forced me to clean up. Rich and I spent 4 days solid getting rid of wet carpet, boxes and stuff that needed to go. Then I turned to organizing TONS of paper stuff. The result...I need to do another garage sale and clean out kits and stuff I have been holding on to for too long. So watch for it. I am thinking the weekend of the August 16th. Included in the scrap stuff will be toys...a kitchen and all that goes with that, a little tykes desk, picnic table, climber, slide and some doll stuff. I have tons of lego but I might need to ebay that. All of those Star Wars figures. Man. There is a ton of stuff.
For today!!!! I am sooo excited to be featured on the HERO ARTS blog today!!!! I am such a HUGE fan of Hero Arts stamps and all of the wonderful inks and accessories! I especially love their Stamp Your Story releases!!!
My challenge was to create a technique inspired project, I chose a layout, using products from this catalogue. One of my favorite sets from this release is the BRUSH STROKES set of stamps.
Can you see all of the opportunities???
BRUSH STROKE FLOWERS!!!!
Here is a closer look!!
And guess what...I made a video too!
I have to say that my voice was almost gone when I created the video. I had just arrived home from Vegas and I must of have left it there!!!
I also created a card with the technique.
Super quick card.
See you tomorrow with my CHA/CREATE AND CONNECT Recap!!!!!
