Hey Folks! Gearing up for Crop & Create Markham this weekend!!! Can't wait! Lots of inks, paints and kits to pack up. Last minute buttons, twine and bits to collect. And a snow storm looming. That last part...not so exciting. I wanted to touch base before the real craziness starts.

There is a this girl whom I adore. Beautiful, uber-talented and nice to boot! Her name is Danielle Flanders. Do you know her? If you do, you know of what I speak.

She has a super unique style of layering and creating art with embellishment. Danielle works her magic on scrapbook pages, cards and more. Her work often finds it's way into my inspiration file.
A few weeks Danielle released a new E-Book through Big Picture Classes. So EXCITING!!! This week I had the pleasure of downloading and pouring over this E-book.
The book is called "Embellishing Handbook" and that is precisely what it is...a source for great ideas for putting the finishing touches on your paper projects.
I found the art in this book stunning and the text very informative. Danielle shares tips on when and why to embellish and how to do it. Definitely worth the $7.99 if you want to learn more about embellishing with style and confidence!!!

I wanted to share this little Valentine's page I made for todays Little Yellow Bicycle's blog post. I created it with the Just Because line. This line is one of my FAVOURITE releases this year!!! I LOVE Navy! It's a fun one because it isn't really a Valentine's line but they added a few extra love themed embellishments so you can use it that way if it tickles your fancy.
Love the Foil Accents!!!!!
Definitely worth adding to your stash!!! I will be amking more with this one. You may even see it in one of my upcoming classes. Just sayin'.

Oh my gosh , I would love to get my eyes on that book. My friends are at the hospital with a pre mature baby (29 weeks) super early and I know they have a long road ahead. I would love to create something beautiful for them to inspire them and give them strength. Dani's work is amazing and I definitely could use her inspiration and techniques to help me.
