Hey there!!! So excited to be a part of Julie Fei Fan Balzer's Stencil blog hop! I met Julie for the first time last year when we taught in France. She is an all around super talented mixed media/quitling genius! She has a fabulous stencil line called Balzer Designs through The Crafter's Workshop. Julie is all about the education and her blog is full of videos and inspiration. You have to check her out.
You may have just hopped here from Bianca Mandity's blog. If you did, welcome! If you are starting with me, here is the list of blogs to check out.
ME
and Julie Balzer
Quite the group I am in! I love these ladies and their art!!!
Ok...here is the stencil we all used...
Here is what I did with it...
I misted it with Mr Huey's, Sprinklers and Glimmer Mist. I then rubbed on a little Perfect Medium and then added some Perfect Pearls.
See the shimmery pearls???
I decided to cut it up and make a grid. Love to do that. I can get messy and artsy but keep it all contained. I have control issues. I also want to point out that I used Fancy Pant's Off To School line. I LOVE this line!!!!!!
Here are a bunch of close ups.
So glad Julie asked me to play!!! Love the versatilty of stencils and Julie's designs are so funky and fun!!!
Now go see the FABULOUS Ali Edwards. I can't wait to see what she came up with!!!

Very creative how you used the stencil and made squares out of it.

Love the use of the stencil on a scrapbook layout! I think we sometimes forget to use them in that way.

Love, love, love how you made the triangle become squares! Scrapbook pages can get the boring squares problems can't they? Can't wait to try your version out.
