I'm Packing Up!
Getting ready to leave bright and early tomorrow morning for St. Johns, NFLD! Can't wait to see all my new friends at The Paperie! I have to check the weather so I pack appropriately! It has been warm here but it will be a lot cooler this weekend.
I was doing a little blog surfing this morning and I went to check out Layle's blog and noticed that she has a little contest going! That book she made looks soooooo cute!!! I can't wait to see a little more of it! Maybe I can take the class if I am free at Scrap-A-Ganza! She is so flippin' talented! And funny! I also noticed this post on her blog. Do you remember "Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific"??!?!?! I loved that shampoo too! I was born in the 70's (tomorrow is actually my B-Day) and I love all the things that remind me of how great being a kid in the 70's and 80's was!! That shampoo falls in to the great cildhood memories categories!! Thanks, Layle!
Ok! I need to get my act in gear!!! Have a good weekend and think of me tomorrw when I have to get up at 4am, wash my hair with some "Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific!" and try not to dwell on the fact that April 25, 2008 is bringing me another year closer to the big 4-0!!! :) But then again, being young is really a state of mind, right!

I'm also a child of the 70's, and clearly remember begging for that shampoo!
Fast forward to the mid 90's, I move to Guam. What do they have on the shelves there? Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific! How is that possible? Did they ship it all to Guam in 1979?
Seriously. I wanted to buy it. I was afraid that it was 20 years old.
They probably still have some.
