Back from Scrapfest, Kitchener!
I'm back from Scrapfest and what a weekend it was!!! Friday, I went to the airport to pick up my friend Jen Starr who was also teaching at the event and after a quick stop at the house to pick up my class kits and goodies we were on the road to Kitchener!!
Once we arrived at the Aud we unpacked the mini van and set up our classes for Friday night. I had a chance to go and check out the Vendor Mall and visit with some of my friends before they opened up the doors to all of the eager scrappers who were there for the VIP Crop. The booths were jam packed with awesome stuff to buy! I have no doubt that everyone went home with a lot of great, scrappy finds!
I taught three classes over the two days and had a ton of fun! There were some wonderful ladies who came out, some old friends and some new. We had a good time playing around with stamps (Gel-A-Tins, Sassafras Lass and Hero Arts), Stix 2 foils & glitter, Rangers stuff, Prism cardstock and Scenic Route of course! On Saturday I had a special guest, too! Kelly Panacci and her charming husband Mario dropped in to give away prizes and lend a helping hand! Thanks for the visit guys!!! I must also thank the great TA's(and a few friends) for all of their help! The rooms were big and I could not have done it without them. In all, the classes were good and the people I got to spend some time with were even better! Thanks to everyone who came and took one of my classes and thank you for having patience with me while I tried to navigate that huge room!
Scrapfest Kitchener was a huge success and Lisa and her team out did themselves this year! I am so happy I was able to be a small part of this fabulous event! Thanks, Lisa!
Now I am off to bed! I had a fun weekend but I am exhausted! Catch ya all tomorrow!

Sounds so fun and alot of work. I happened to be browsing Scarlet Lime's site and noticed you will be the guest designer! Darno, I wished you could have been there just 2 months earlier I would have loved to have seen what you could do with my shop goodies that were featured using those yummy scenic route papers Christy used! No doubt your pages will be lovely! I just love your work!

Thanks so much for the awesome stamping class. It was the first class I've ever taken and it was awesome. I loved all of your tips.
Can't wait for DC now!

Vicki, it was great chatting with you at ScrapFest. I wish I could have taken one of your classes, and I will definitely be at Scrapbooks by Design in November!

Seeing you again and having a chance to chat was awesome. You rock girl! Loved your class. I am afraid we made a Tim Horton's run on the way home too. You are a pusher!!

Hi Vicki, I ran across your blog and have enjoyed browsing around. Your layouts are so unique, you are very talented. I was looking at your scrap space and I noticed the shelves that are kind of like ladders. I have been looking for something similar. Do you mind telling me where you found those? BTW, I love your hair!...*smiles*...Thanks for your time, Karen from Oklahoma

Hey,
You haven't posted in over a week, I hope all is well! Sounds like Kitchener was a blast. I'm so mad I didn't go, the Def Leppard concert ended up being canceled due to illness!
I haven't had the chance to call Angie yet, I keep forgetting and then I remember before the store opens! It's like a vicious cycle or something.
